shining star

this has gone on too long and too far. never wanted to begin now i'm finding it hard to quit (drinking). as a start, i'm currently on a one-drink per hour limit. it isn't really working out so nicely. my newest, most recent, strategy is to drink so heavily that it ceases working (the alcohol's effects, that is). this is working somewhat sufficiently thus far. but it's hard when i can't even see my shining star. strangely, i feel like sleeping in some stranger's car (with tinted windows) this evening. or maybe in a park. somewhere warm and dark where the wind doesn't blow at all. you are my shining star. catch me when and if (which is extremely likely to happen) i fall?
