 form following function. everything, everyone in conjunction. they loosen their necktie (noose like) at the luncheon. eucalyptus, pine, oak, cedar. hot for you/running a fever. running on a treadmill and getting nowhere. i’m a believer. i sometimes act like i don’t but truly secretly care. black lace underwear thrown wherever during our affairs. musical chairs. they come here alone but leave in pairs. oranges, apples, plums, and pears. sweet juices dripping down my chin as i break the forbidden fruit’s skin and grin.
